Format SD Card Windows 7 Ultimate
-
Hello, I have Windows 7 Ultimate installed on my 128gb SSD. Lately, I've been getting errors, especially when opening executable files from programs and when I download something from softonic, it won't let me open it. The thing is, I've been thinking about formatting it and installing Windows 7 Professional, and I'd like to know if, once installed, I would have to optimize the SSD again or if I already did it for the first time when I bought it, it's not necessary.
When I refer to optimizing, I mean removing the options to remove the defragmentation options, Windows backups, etc. to extend the life of the disk. -
If you format, you have to reconfigure the entire Windows system, and that includes scheduled tasks like defragmentation.

Defragmentation is automatically disabled for SSDs under Windows 7.
