Go back to the previous version of the bios!!!!
-
Hello I have an Asus p5k3 deluxe and as I had some errors when it turned on I decided to install the latest version of my bios, but now I have realized that it has some different parameters and I would like to go back to the version I had before. I have tried removing the battery changing the jumper position using the ez flash (which tells me it can't update because the version is older) and nothing no way to get rid of this version (I think it's the 1509 and I had the 0407).
Well let's see if you can help me. Anyway on Monday I will go for a new battery because I think this one has worn out because it doesn't keep the time and it's already old (I don't know if this influences the fact that I can't downgrade the bios version. -

I wouldn't touch it, the only thing is that now you may have more bios options but it's a matter of understanding them or disabling them if they're not useful for you, going back would be flashing bios and from Windows it's dangerous, it's better to have the latest one that supports new CPUs, bios options are added, once you get the hang of it you don't remember the one you had.

With the old bios I could set the ddr3 memory to 1333 mhz just with OC and with the new one they either stay at 1330 or go to 1335 and I tried lowering the multiplier and nothing. I don't know if it's important or not but I don't understand why it used to work and now it doesn't.

in the end I end up with the new bios already configured!!!!Thanks.
