Well, I'm a bit lost with the topic, the fact is that I have a 120 gb sdd disk and I have done a clean installation of Windows 7 with the drivers of the motherboard, graphics, etc. I would like to make a backup in case that later on the system fails, I don't have to reinstall them one by one.
I have a secondary mechanical hard drive and I would like to store it there and that's where I have my doubts:

Which program do you recommend for making the backup? Windows itself?
In the case of the latter, when I have to use it and Windows doesn't work, how would I do it?

The sdd disk is 120 Gb and it recognizes 119 of which I have 76 Gb free after installing Windows 7 Pro with all the updates to date of internet and printer software, drivers, etc.
Do you advise me any specific program or do I do it with Windows itself?
      Thanks

My recommendation goes to Acronis True Image. With it you can create an image of the entire disk as it is. In the future you will only have to restore the image and the SSD will remain exactly the same as it is now including the MBR.

What I usually use is the "live-cd" that supports USB drives and network folders.

        It is paid.

Seagate and Western Digital have their own free version of True Image licensed by Acronis that will only work if one of the disks (source or destination) is from their brand. If this is your case, you can download the program from their respective pages.

Take that, I didn't know that, and I have more than one Seagate and I love Acronis.

At Seagate, the installer is called Seagate disk wizard…or something like that.
Both are downloaded from the Support section of their websites.

Good contribution that :sisi: For example, I only have WD and Seagate drives, so it will come in very handy in case of emergencies.
