Installing Mac OS X Lion and Mountain Lion with UniBeast and MultiBeast on PC
-
As many people are asking for it, I will roughly indicate the firm steps to be taken, although you all know that I am currently fighting with ML and its USB creation, which I do not understand why it fails.First, we must work with a Mac or a hackintosh, and download the Lion installer from the APPSTORE, or Mountain Lion, and move it to applications or mount it on the computer.
Second, we download UniBeast, and subsequently use a 8GB Pendrive (it is the recommended one), and format it with the "Disk Utility" in "MBR and MAC OS system with registration" mode.
Third, we open UniBeast and choose the options we want, if we have a laptop "Laptop Support" or if we have a motherboard with LGA1156 "Legacy USB Support" and follow the instructions.
Fourth, if we have done it correctly, it will indicate after a good while, installation completed, if not, it is that either the installer fails or there is something that UniBeast does not detect (which happens to me with ML)
Fifth, we start the PC with the USB created and it will indicate 2 options (USB Name), and the System we have (If it is Windows or a similar partition it will say "Windows NTFS". We choose the USB option, and it will start the installer of our future MAC OS X.
Sixth, once installed, we will proceed to install MultiBeast for ML or Lion as appropriate by marking the options, there it is a matter of trying each one the options now I do not remember them all but if necessary I will look them up. Once finished, we will restart the PC and we should not need the previously created USB to start.
Seventh, now comes the difficult part, the drivers, because each PC is a world, in many cases and more if our equipment mounts a graphics card from the nvidia 8 series or higher, it is very difficult that we have problems with the start, with which it is somewhat more complicated is with the 3xxx and 4xxx series of Ati.
Eighth, to install the drivers we will need either nothing (they come in self-installable packages ".pkg or .dmg" or a Kexts installation utility, which I recommend "KextUtility" and "KextWizard").
Ninth, you can vary the order of the drivers all, except if you have Wifi, because you have to install the integrated network card first, and then the wifi, otherwise, you will have to modify the files:
- org.charmeleon.Boot.plist
and - smbios.plist
verifying that en0 corresponds to your LAN network interface and en1 to the wifi, which is why I recommend having a backup pc to download the mac drivers you may need.
Tenth, enjoy your Hackintosh!!
*PD: If someone has the Logitech K360 keyboard, after installing the MultiBeast, it will stop working.
- Have AHCI enabled and S3 Only in the BIOS.
- org.charmeleon.Boot.plist
-
But there has to be a way to fix the keyboard issue, right? -
I don't know if it was from the same system or not, at least in Mavericks which is the one I have installed now it works, it would be something from the kernel or something else.

Taking advantage of the refloat, do you have a clear guide on how to virtualize Mavericks on ESXi? :ugly: This week I took a course on developing applications for iOS7 at work, but we are without a Mac for now XD
-
In a virtual machine I don't know because I tried it through the pen I made and nanai, and the time I lost it, in the end I ended up finding a machine already made for VirtualBox or VMWARE I don't remember well, and then I already made the pen there, so the easiest thing would be that and if not try to put it on a hard drive what ATI is, it's a bit complicated to configure, I've been days with the 4850, and it still resists me.

Good luck with that, the first iMac i5-i7 had a 4850. A colleague of mine just had it replaced and it cost him an eye :ugly:
