Every now and then, one of those enthusiasts out there manages to go a bit further.
In this case it's Joost Verhelst (a.k.a. rsnubje), who with the help of an EVGA EPower module and phase change cooling, manages to overclock a Raspberry Pi to the maximum 1500Mhz that it apparently allows.
His result on HWBot
We can say they are crazy, but can we blame them for trying? ;D
