well I'm thinking about building a new PC for gaming and moderate video editing and I have doubts about the RAM and PSU regarding performance, brand and price
The PSU I'm thinking of buying is one of these 2
SilverStone Strider Gold S 850w vs Corsair AX860
well in price Corsair is 40 dollars more than Silverstone but in performance which one is better than the other?
for RAM well I'm thinking of buying one of these 2
Gskill Trident X 16gb 1600mhz 7-8-8-24
Corsair Dominator Platinum 16gb 1866mhz 9-10-9-27
which one of these 2 is better? in price Corsair is 60 dollars more than Gskill
well talking about the PC I'm thinking of building what do you think about the following parts
monitor ASUS MX279H
Asus GTX 770
Intel Core i5 4670k
Asus Maximus VI Hero
Samsung 840 evo 250gb
HDD WD BLUE 1TB 720RPM 64MB CACHE -
At first glance, it's a great team, but I see some things that don't add up to me, for example; a lot of source for a single graphic, with one of good quality (just like you put, both are very good, being superior the Corsair, the one made by Seasonic) and with about 600/700W you would be overdoing it, then I don't see any heatsink (be careful with the memories you want, both are high profile) depending on the cooling you put, I could advise you about them, if you put an RL, the problems with them are over, now I'll tell you about the motherboard, do you really need that one, for what? with much less price, you can get a very good one too, but of course, it's just a suggestion, if there's budget and whim, go ahead, it's just a suggestion. Pd: if you have any questions, we're here. Regards.
