Windows 7 stops being sold in October
-
Microsoft has decided to stop selling Windows and its last copy will be sold in October 2014. Apparently it is a strategy to promote its "infamous" Windows 8, which by the way, recovers one of the classic features of Windows: the start menu, which apparently will be available again in that kind of Service Pack called Windows 8.2.

I suppose they want to stop selling it soon so that their retirement is not eternal, just like what happened with Windows XP. But anyway, it still has a lot of life left in it.

In fact, Windows 7 SP1 will have mainstream support until 2015 and will continue to receive security updates until 2020.

I hope the updates are real, because I hate Windows 8

it gives me the start menu like the old one ( StartIsBackPlus ) there is for win 8.0 and win 8.1

For the little that improves and the much that I have gotten into configuring countless stories, I go up to 9.

I still use xp sp3… I put 7 on the server and when I reinstall it, I still think about abandoning xp for 7. The 8 is not even a possibility at the moment

I have 8.1 because I let myself have a little freedom, but since I finished installing all the programs I haven't started it up again, I've only used Linux Mint. On the laptop, yes, Windows 7.

...wasn't it said that Windows 9 will be released in April next year?

But there are still people who buy Windows? :troll: :troll: -

Be careful with XP; it has been without support of any kind for a few days and I think it will be targeted by all kinds of crap in the coming months.
