Asus Xonar DGX 5.1 PCIe
-
Hello, I currently have an Asrock P67 Pro3 motherboard with integrated audio on the board itself Audio 7.1 CH HD with content protection (Realtek ALC892 Audio Codec), Supports Premium Blu-ray audio.
My idea is to get a dedicated sound card Asus Xonar DGX 5.1 PCIe to connect my Thermaltake TTesport 2.1 stereo headphones.
Is it worth it? Will I notice an improvement in games especially in effects and positioning? -

You will notice above all quality and thanks to this you will have a better scene but it does not mean that it has FX to improve positioning. It is a purchase that is worth it, for 4 euros you improve the sound of an integrated one. I do not like the Asus control panel, at least in my STX you have to change the output source each time but well, you gain quality and Creative is not exactly the bomb in drivers. -
Thanks, I'm now stuck with the installation and disabling the integrated sound on my Asrock P67

Disable from BIOS as you get started.
