Hello everyone!!!!
I bought an LG 27MP75HM-P 27" LED IPS monitor yesterday and it is connected to an Nvidia GTX 780 graphics card, so both are new and recently purchased
I bought that monitor because it practically had no borders on the sides or on the top. The surprise is that when I connect it, it shows some kind of black borders the size of a finger in those places
This is the monitor
LG 27MP75HM-P 27" LED IPS 27MP75HM-P Monitor
It is clearly seen in the photos that it practically has no border, but I get them
Any ideas on how to solve this? I have looked at all the options of the graphics and the monitor. That is curious that if I press Auto Adjust, the typical button of the monitors, and it says "Only with D-Sub"
It is strange that a new monitor tells me that an option can only be used with the Vga cable (D-Sub), right now I have it connected by DVI, with an HDMI adapter on the monitor.
Thank you very much for the help in advance
Regards!!!

The automatic adjustment only works with VGA connections, because they are the only ones that need it.
Check that you have the monitor detected (driver) and configured correctly (maximum resolution 1920x1080).
On the image on PCC, it looks like they pasted an image on the monitor, and partially covered the sides
Salu2!

Thank you very much for the answer!!!!
Ok, I understand perfectly about the automatic adjustment. The monitor has the correct resolution 1920 x 1080. The driver in principle was already picked up by Win8, but even so, just in case I installed the driver that came on the monitor's CD and nothing, it's still the same
They just told me that it's an LG marketing strategy, that in the images they appear without borders, but when you turn it on it has the typical border, I find it so strange
Anyway, if I return it, just for the fact of trying to deceive. And what a right you have with the image they have put on Pccom!!
Greetings and thanks

Indeed, in no case is it stated that the image is not projected by the monitor, which in itself tends, at the very least, to be misleading.
But as a buyer it is your responsibility to gather all possible information about the product, regardless of what is offered on the advertiser's page, which in fact states that:"SCREENS LIKE CINEMA
The bezel on these monitors has been reduced to a minimum to offer you the most incredible and immersive visual experience. You will feel as if you are enjoying your entertainment or working directly on a cinema screen."Even so, you have a period to return it, so I suggest that if you are really not happy with it, you do so immediately.
And I am not absolving the advertiser of blame, simply taking it as a warning to others. ;D

The store is not to blame because LG in promotional images does not show the actual screen margin, the store simply by not putting real images uses these that lead to deception, which by the way YES "the frame has been reduced to a minimum" but for now that does not mean it is non-existent.

Little joys that the chat with LG has left me
"The photographs on the website are indicative and may not correspond to the appearance of the device"
"The Company cannot guarantee the truthfulness, authenticity, adequacy and accuracy of the information provided through the Website."I am thinking about whether to return it or not, after all, for that money, you can't buy much better
Thank you very much!!!!

I would really appreciate it, cachirulo66, if you could send me some real photos of that black frame since the image doesn't reach the edge.
I am considering buying the new model (the 77) of that model for a simulator (3 monitors) and since it has many edges, I skip them because for that I buy one with a real 1 cm border but much more robust.
Best regards,

Thanks for the refloat.
The said monitor has a real bezel of 11 mm.

Hello
Honestly, because of the misleading advertising they use, I will not recommend LG to anyone. About 10 ml is what the fellow says
This afternoon I will try to take some photos for you, as I am not at home now
Greetings!!!!
