AREAL - Pseudo-official sequel to STALKER

Some of the culprits behind the STALKER saga, and partly behind Metro2033, are leading this project to develop a survival FPS, picking up much of the spirit of those franchises.

They have a month to raise a minimum of $50,000 USD, although they have set goals up to a million :facepalm:, but don't worry they already have half of the minimum needed, so if anyone wants to have a character with their name, or their face in this new game, you just have to shell out $3,000 USD <:(

It seems that this project is in the middle of a primate fight, of those that consist of throwing shit at each other, with other projects inspired by the STALKER saga, some modders, and several distant relatives.

If anyone has invested in the project, please check the possibility of reducing the contribution to the minimum ($1 USD), at least until the matter clears up a bit.

Let's hope that the project members come forward, and some good answers to the barrage of queries launched from the gaming community and specialized press, but right now I think it's better to minimize damage.

I'm sorry to have promoted the project before they came up with more compelling evidence, but it seems that in the face of the siren songs of a possible sequel to this saga, my reason gets a bit clouded ¬¬

They most likely won't reach $50k, because they haven't managed to give any plausible answer to the questions raised, and the latest video, several comments on the project's website, state that it can be done in an afternoon, pulling from existing plugins of the Unity engine <:(

In their own comments section, there's a spammer running wild putting out bullshit about the tensions between Ukraine and Russia, and now it seems that the staff is more concerned with talking about that topic, than defending themselves against accusations of fraud, using other people's material, etc... :facepalm:

We are waiting for games that recover the spirit of that great saga called STALKER, but it doesn't seem like it's going to be with these guys :mudo:

Getting $12k in 5 minutes is a great achievement, and that it is in the higher amount options more, but as suspicious as the exponential activity of the comment section :ffu: and its null content.

I update the post to recommend to those interested in this game, an article on Gamespot (in English), impartially recounting the development of this project until its current state of suspension.

The topic has had much more meat, with a hilarious chat set up by the excited "backers", in which some of the developers participated to try to calm the atmosphere, achieving the opposite effect, but we will see that when they make the movie :troll:, or the trilogy, which due to lack of material will not be ;D
