The question is clear, concise and surely many of you keep a memory of that companion who has accompanied you for so long.
And it is that, next to the keyboard, the mouse is one of the most afflicted peripherals (imagine how you would be with a sweaty hand on it all day and that it would not stop giving you little taps on the back :ffu::ffu:) and that, in many cases, is the one that is given the least attention.
For my part, my faithful squire for more than 6 years now, is an indestructible Logitech MX 400 Performance Laser Mouse (you will see, I am talking too much and surely today it will break). This mouse was one of the first laser ones from Logitech and I am really delighted with its operation. In addition, thanks to its ergonomics, it adapts perfectly to the hand and is very comfortable.

Although it is not the one that has lasted you the most, you can also recommend one that you have liked a lot.
Come on, try to remember.

One of the ball and two-button ones from the el pirulo brand that came with the first PC I bought in 96, when phones still had keys.
It should also be clarified that I tried to repair it, because they always die in the same place: the piece of cable that comes out of the mouse.
I kept cutting and soldering it… it got down to almost a palm's length when I decided to change it (I think it was another ball one, but very modern with three buttons and a wheel) :ugly:Oh, where did those peripherals of immaculate white go and why did they change them for these ones that are so fashion, that end up fading with the friction.

Logitech MX518, I have already lost count of the years it has been with me.
-
Well, in my case, the issue is also between two Logitechs, one is the MX400 like Nemo's, which I still use with my laptop even though the rubber where the thumb is is already a bit ugly, and the other one I gave a try is a wireless one like this:

Well you're lucky that it still has rubber, mine doesn't have any rubber left in the grip areas .
But otherwise, a tank today!!.

In my case I think a Creative OMC90S. I have recently retired the one from my main PC: a Gigabyte GM-M6880 that has been fighting for a couple of years or three and which suddenly started sending multiple clicks when doing one.
Anyway I have a good number of retired mice that work perfectly except for the wheel. The damn wheel is always the first to go.
Right now I am moving with a Logitech M-BT83 of the most basic ones I had lying around and which occasionally sends the cursor to the top left corner, but soon I will buy a decent replacement for the Gigabyte. So I note the MX400.

Well, I don't think you'll find this model in stores anymore. You'll probably find its great-great-grandchildren, which won't have the same solidity as this one.
-
of the old ones a Logitech and a genius that I can't remember the name of but they were cheap
more recent this one, it wasn't bad

this is the one I use and it has been with me the longest in daily use

Logitech G5 what a coincidence that the topic came up since I will probably switch to a Corsair M95 this week.

I just picked this up to treat myself

Razer ouroboros

MX revolution, I think I've had it for about 7 years and I'm still happy with it. I find it very comfortable and with many options.
100 beaters that I released with it back in the day :fuckyea:

Mouse?, what is that? I have a mouse-free house ;D
Just like I got rid of the floppy disk drive and now of disk and card readers, I only have an HDD and now without mice… But if I go back in time I have always had Logitech, and lately, as ferelxyx I had an X7, which I broke in one fell swoop, and the G5 was the last one and I was very happy even though it already had some aesthetic wear.
-
I don't know which one is the best, maybe the MX510 from Logitech, although the Razer Imperator that I have now has already been with me for quite some time and so far 0 problems, the worst without a doubt the SteelSeries Xai which after a few months had the buttons totally worn out.
-
I have a cheap NGS that I inherited from a good friend, it already had its wear and tear, but I really liked the way it looked, it was perfect for me.
Now I have a Chinese AJAZZ that is a bit bouncy, courtesy of my partner, but it's actually cool :sisi:

Best regards

I've been looking at mice and most stores have very few options. In the end I got a Keep Out Mouse X9.
I hope the wheel will last me a couple of years at least.
