Hello troops, as they say in English, I hope they honor the warranty, I don't recommend buying OCZ drives until this issue is clarified. I'll let you know how it goes, my drive keeps resetting, it's 4 years old and the warranty is supposedly 5, if FirePower takes responsibility...
Editing: The yankee in charge of RMAs just told me she was sorry but it had a 3 year warranty but it actually has 5, it's clearly stated on the box. I just sent her a photo to her personal email :ugly:
P.S.: She offered to fix it for $95
Editing 2: RMA accepted, it costs me 26 bucks to send it to Avenida Encinas (California).
Well, it looks like FirePower is being good. The shipping cost is not cheap but I negotiated with OCZ for my previous StealthXStream that a colleague kept and they required sending it to Europe by DHL I think and with the method they requested it cost a little less.
We'll see if they fix it or what they propose when they see what's wrong. I suggested they give me a discount on the ZT 550W from Amazon.es. I'll let you know.
Editing 3: By the way, Toshiba is only covering some warranties with SSDs, they ignore the rest, it seems they were not included in the agreement. For more info HERE.

Thanks for the info Obione, on PC2 I have an OCZ ModXStream that I think is still under warranty, so it's good to know this.

They have shined, they have returned it to me supposedly repaired and it continues to restart… -
But does the font or the entire computer restart? I have never seen a font "restart" :ugly:

I was recording a video for the aunt to whom you sent a video with the photo of the box so that she can see that it restarts, to see if she would make a fuss or send you a new one. I think it looks bad.
Otherwise, let them send a messenger and they pay the shipping. I also think it's difficult, but of course I would be on the dog and I would harass her by email, for life ;D

I've always wanted to have a spare power supply for backup or to check for possible faults in home computers or those of troublesome friends. Lately, I've been using some borrowed ones, but they've ended up being mounted in computers, and the one I was lent is pending to go to a PC to take advantage of an 5870.
The thing is, I don't trust these bastards one bit, and I don't know what solution they'll give me if they don't leave me high and dry, because I'm expecting the worst. I'm thinking about buying a new power supply and we'll see how the issue with FirePower turns out.
I'm considering these 4 models, with most of the votes going to the S12G. What do you think?

Editing: The S12G has already been paid for, in 5 days I have to return the borrowed one. I'll let you know if these FirePower people have played me.
Editing2: I told the lady in charge of RMAs that she should also pay for the return shipping, so they don't mess with me. She replied that they don't repair, they replace. That seems difficult to me, considering that I bought the power supply when it was already out of production, EOL for the friends. She says it will be a problem with my equipment when it has been working perfectly for more than 4 years and continues to work perfectly with both the new Seasonic and the cheap one they left me to get by. These Firepower people are a pain today :ffu:
