Set DDR3 to 2000 Mhz

A while ago (a long time) I started a thread about how I could set my memory to 2000Mhz because by default in auto it comes out at 1066: Asus P6T and DDR to 2000Mhz how is the OC? - HardLimit

This is not an OC properly, it's just setting up the DDR as it should be... my RAMs are these: 6GB OCZ DDR3 PC3-16000 2000MHz Blade Series CL9 Triple Channel kit (9-9-9-30)

The thing is that you replied to me but I didn't understand anything. I don't have a clue about OC, the most I know is to go to the BIOS and select X value

I've read that the memory works at 1.65V and latencies 9-9-9-30. I understand that it would be as easy as entering the BIOS and setting QPI/DRAM core voltage to 1.65... that's what I did but when the BIOS starts it tells me that it stays at 1066...??? it's supposed to configure itself with the appropriate voltage, right? Now I don't know if I should enter the latency section and start putting the values 9-9-9-30 to each DIM... is that enough?

And if I choose the 2133 profile in the BIOS what happens?

And I'm surprised that I start CPU-Z and in Memory it says I'm going to 2138 Mhz...??:

I've also seen that in AI Tweaker instead of auto there was X.M.P (I think) and another with 4 letters (I can't remember)… DMHA, in the latter there was a profile of DDR3-2006Mhz... I chose that because I think that 6 Mhz more won't burn it. I'm controlling the CPU temperature all the time and it doesn't go above 55C

Creo que una rama en la que te contestaron varios usuarios y tiene tres paginas para resolver exclusivamente tu duda no te enteraste de nada es un poco para hacérselo uno mirar macho

Puedes configurarlo de forma manual pero si la placa soporta perfiles XMP deberia de modificar ella todo automaticamente si en la bios seleccionas utilizar dicho perfil… otra cosa es que tu placa no soporte esa función o que tu no sepas como hacerlo... ambas cosas las puedes saber leyendo el manual de la placa base.

Pues no lo se, no sera que la placa las pone a esa velocidad?… en todo caso esa resolución para la foto es excesiva y no veo nada... a mi pantalla le falta resolución :troll:

Creo que ahi explica muy bien que es cada cosa… en tu caso mejor el perfil XMP aunque es posible que tu placa no cambie el voltaje automáticamente.

Instálate el HWiNFO y podras monitorizar todos los parametros de una tacada y luego ejecuta el LinX 0.6.5 y en tu caso con como mínimo 4Gb o el 75% de la RAM (deja libre mínimo 50 o 100Mb) y a ver si la configuración es estable.
