Hello, I'm a bit lost on the topic, so I invite you to help me choose my new PC case
I currently have an NZXT Trinity, but today I received the new graphics card and it doesn't fit in any way (ASUS 970)
Well, just looking around, I saw these two
Corsair Vengeance C70 Gunmetal Black - USB 3.0 Case

Corsair Obsidian 450D Case with Window - Black

You can give your opinions and suggestions, thank you very much
-
For line cleanliness (I don't like the issue of having elements that break the top lines like the C70's) I would choose the 450D. But that's because I have a lian-li PC70, which is smooth and I like it.
But you will have to see if the interior of one interests you more than the other. This is very subjective. -
well from the inside more or less the two equal ones give me the same possibilities

Hello,
Look for the best option in terms of cooling in the case you choose. It is important that the airflow is sufficient and well distributed, which implies a lower front location of large fans for air intake, an upper rear location for exhaust (implies power supply down) and optionally some on the "ceiling" of the case (also exhaust).
Personally, between the two you put, I like the Obsidian, for elegance and for the window, to see the interior in real time, particularly it gives me more confidence (and I like it aesthetically, this is already subjective).
Regards

many thanks for your replies Sylver both have a side window that is one of my requirements hehe
-
I think the interior of both has the same dimensions, so I agree that it is a matter of aesthetics.
I also chose it with a window, not to see the interior but because I dismantled the methacrylate and put a perforated metal panel that I painted black. Nice and cool. -
Oops, I didn't look at the detailed photos of the Vengeance, as I already didn't like the front, so…

What Whoololon says is also a good idea, a perforated metal panel provides exceptional cooling while occupying the entire space of a side window, although if the window is a requirement as it is for me, then everything is said

Best regards!

If you ask me which one of the two (because there are no others on the face of the earth to choose from) thinking about aesthetics, I prefer the 450 (I don't understand the thing with the rubber bands on the top of the C7,
… it seems cheap to me along with the handles :mute:) but if it were for me, I don't like either one because both are overpriced and lack things that I value more in a case... for example, having native USB 2.0 connectors on the front, of course I don't like them with a window... nor with "intentomoding"... nor with lights (that's what getting old does :mute:)... that's why I have an Antec Performance One P100 that the only thing that didn't convince me was the design solution adopted for the "cheap front filter" because when you open the lid it's horrible… but what it has of horrible it has of practical
.I'm not saying you should buy mine :no-no:... what I mean is that for tastes, colors... set a maximum budget limit, make a list of essential requirements, list the cases that meet them and choose the one you like the most.
For example, I can tell you about mine that if someone wants to buy it, they can already budget for fans because the ones that come with it are 3€ ones that are a chestnut... quiet but very weak... luckily it only comes with two... I've kept them but they'll go straight to eBay as soon as I have a moment :troll:
As for recommending one, if the budget is not a problem and what you really look for is space and good ventilation, I would get a Cooler Master HAF XM - RC-922XM-KKN1 they have it with a window Cooler Master HAF XM - RC-922XM-KWN1.

And the best of all, it comes with the ability to disable the LED of the fans

That said, as I already say, for tastes, colors.

Above all, I almost forgot, buy a good fan to replace the one in the back, which tends to fall quite short when mounting high flow coolers.

I have a c70 and I have had many cases, and this is one of the best I have had without going over mid tower it offers a lot of space for both cooling and disks and at the same time keep the wiring tidy, the quality of the materials is excellent as always corsair does a great job.
