Update my PC
-
Hello good afternoon, I have been trying to buy a graphics card for a while, and this Christmas is my opportunity, but to be honest I have a doubt, my current PC is as follows
Motherboard = Gigabyte EP35C-DS3R
Processor = E8400, dual core
Graphics = 8600 GT
Power supply = 500W
Among the graphics cards I am hesitating about are these three:

http://www.appinformatica.com/tarjetas-graficas-msi-vga-nvidia-gt-740-2gb-ddr3.php
Which one would you recommend from these three? or which one would you recommend? Preferably from this page, and that it does not exceed 100€ too much since my budget is scarce.
I have also been looking at a new power supply and they have this one on offer of 700w

What do you think?
Thank you very much for your trouble.
Have a happy Christmas.
Best regards. -
Of the three graphs you put, the best is the GTX750 without a doubt, which I see is priced at 115€, and for the power supply, better than the one you put, a Tacens Mars Gaming 700W Active 85+, which comes in at 38€. I have looked at other brands that I trust more, but they are already over 50€, and I assume the budget is very tight.
I hope the graph doesn't give you problems to plug it into that board, but don't rule it out :|. If you can, it's better to take the tower for assembly, and have it done at the store, and this way you make it easier to return, or they can wash their hands.
Salu2! And Merry Christmas!

Many thanks, by the way this power supply that you recommended me, the Tacens, does it have the appropriate connectors for my motherboard? thanks
and Merry Christmas -
Yes, you should not have any problems with the source.
Salu2!

Thank you very much for your recommendation, I will go to look for it tomorrow.
I will let you know
I hope that with this graphics card you can play Lords of the Fallen.
Thank you very much

Hello:
I hope it's not too late to tell you that maybe it's better to keep saving...
I'll tell you about the game you're talking about and according to what I've looked at the minimum requirements:
Operating System: Windows Vista (SP2), Windows 7 (SP1) or Windows 8 (64-bit only)
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 @ 2.66Ghz or AMD Phenom II X4 940 @ 3.0Ghz.
6 GB of RAM
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 460 or better
DirectX 11
25 GB of free space on the hard drive
DirectX 9.0c compatible sound cardYour Dual Core is not enough to run the game in principle. We would also have to know how much RAM you have, which, given the components of your computer, I assume will be about 4 Gigabytes, I doubt it would be more because in the era when Dual Cores were popular, it was rare to see more than 4 Gigabytes of RAM installed in "normal" computers.
The best thing to do to extend your platform without much expense would be to change the graphics card, which would still be useful for a future platform, change the power supply, for which you might have to dig a bit deeper into your pocket, and if you're lucky, get a second-hand Quad Core. They sell them for about 40-50 Euros and they would give your computer some more life, but... it would be investing in a platform that is already dead.
My recommendation is to keep saving until you can change platforms. Otherwise, if you can't wait, then as the colleague says, change the power supply and the graphics card. The one he recommends is decent for the price it has. You can't ask for a top-of-the-line graphics card at that price, but it's a solid graphics card. Tacens power supplies are not the best, but if the budget is the deciding factor, better a Tacens than a cheap Chinese one.

I hope I can play Lords of the Fallen with this graphics.
Many thanks
Merry ChristmasIt's that with this graphics you don't need to change the power supply, I would only put the graphics the 750 consumes very little and that power supply is enough for you.
The computer would work better with a 4-core CPU, but maybe you can manage with yours if you overclock it a bit, at least until you decide to change the computer, there were processors of that socket with 4 cores and cheap, but maybe it would be better to update the CPU plate and memory, put a more modern socket, but with the 750 that computer should be enough without touching anything else.
What power supply is that 500W? because with a Tacen 420W I put up to an 8800GTS and a c2d 6420 at 3400 MHz, it must consume much more than that 750 the 8800gts g80.regards
