      Hello everyone:

      you see I have this:

ASUS P5LD2 SE motherboard, it's a pentium 4 at 3.4 Gz dual core pentium d945, the memory is ddr2, and from what I saw the socket is from the 775 family. it's an atx.
      http://www.asus.com/es/Motherboards/P5LD2_SE/overview/

The computer is desktop, and the motherboard dimensions are ATX 12"x 7.5" (30.5 cm. x 19 cm.) it's a bit odd, but anyway, I have two questions.

1.- Which motherboard do you recommend that I don't have to change the micro or buy ddr3 memory, and that the micro fan works for me?

2.- because the tower comes with the motherboard with these measurements, I see more holes, but I don't know what measurements would work for me or how the pci expansions would fit, that is to say sizes like micro atx or atx if they would fit well etc. etc.?

sorry for my ignorance but I hope I explained myself well, anyway if you need any more information I'll tell you.

basically I'm without a computer, and I have to buy a motherboard with the same characteristics as the one I have so I don't have to change more parts and that it fits in its original tower logically.

      regards and thanks

Socket 775 motherboards are still being sold.
The mounting brackets are generic for each family… it's just a matter of removing one and installing another.
Sorry, but I don't see what the problem is. ?

the problem is that I have read that the PC towers for ATX and for mini ATX are different, and because I have never assembled a mini ATX motherboard, I do not know where the PCI cards would go, or if it would fit in an ATX PC tower, I suppose the screws would fit but the configuration of the elements I do not know where they would go.

This one should work for you without any problems. You can only put two DDR3 or two DDR2 memories, never the four at the same time

            Asrock G41C-GS V2.0 - Motherboard - 70 euros

The difference with yours is that it is a little shorter and has two PCI instead of the three that yours has
and you can only use two memories, for the rest without problems, everything works for you. ok

            regards
