Hello everyone, I am jrahe and I am new to the forum.

I would like you to recommend me a monitor for CAD (autocad) and infography.?
My budget is 260 euros. I was thinking of a 24" monitor, but I don't know if a 21.5" would be enough for me.

      Thanks to all.
      Best regards.

If you want an IPS, look at a Dell Ultrasharp, it will cost you a little less and you will have a good range of colors. If you want something more "pro", you can get an EIZO, both 24" 1080.

          Hello,

Without a doubt, the best thing is that the monitor is IPS, so that the colors do not vary, or do so to a minimum, depending on the viewing angles. In addition, the representation of colors is usually better, in addition to what has been mentioned.

They speak well of the DELL UltraSharp IPS, but I have an Asus IPS from a modest range and the truth is that I could not be happier with the monitor. It cost me approximately what you have in your budget, and it has very good image quality, and excellent connectivity. I have my desktop PC and a laptop connected simultaneously and the truth is that there are zero problems.

I hope my opinion helps you.

          Best regards,

Another vote for a monitor with IPS technology. Personally, I wouldn't buy anything smaller than a 24". I was able to use a 21.5" at work and it felt very small to me. 24" starts to be good, and with your budget, it's hard to do better.

This one costs just over €250: Dell UltraSharp U2412M and it's a 16:10, which is a bit wider than a 16:9 widescreen, which I think is better if it's for work. Resolution 1980 x 1200

If you can stretch to around €300: Dell UltraSharp U2515H, which in addition to being 25" has more resolution. 2560 x 1440. They speak wonders about it and it's a monitor that's good for work and for gaming, so it doesn't look bad.

They speak very highly of this Benq: BenQ BL2411PT 24" is around €300 and it's very nice.

This Asus is 27": Asus MX279H is around €300 and if you have the monitor at a good distance it won't seem huge to you. Go to a shopping center and stand at the approximate distance from the monitor as you have it at home to check if it seems big or not. I did this a few years ago before buying my 42" TV, at first it seemed huge to me, and after a short time I realized that a bigger TV wouldn't have been bad either. :ugly:

Personally, I think it's worth saving a little more and stretching to the 25" one or looking for one that's around the price you indicate, but always being IPS. A monitor lasts for years and is good for your eyes, don't buy a bad one to save a few euros. ;D

Well now that we "know" that black holes do not destroy information… It never hurts, right? :risitas:
