-
hello friends, I have these components that I would like to use and therefore I would like you to help me choose a new motherboard with these basic characteristics.
-micro ATX
-Socket AM3 (I think the micro is compatible)
-USB 3.0 (front connection)
-SATA 3 (because I want to install an SSD)
-DDR3Components I have.
Micro AMD Athlon II X2 250
RAM DDR3 2GB - KVR1333D3N9/2G
Case with F.A Tacens Radix Eco 500WI don't know if I forgot something else... but if you need any other data, tell me.

Hello,
What is your budget?
What will you use the computer for?In advance, I think the RAM you have is too little, I would add at least another 2Gb module identical to the one you have, to relieve the operating system.
Best regards
-
hello sylver…well the use I'm going to give to the computer is basically navigation, office work and use of normal programs.
The budget is somewhat average.
The motherboard between 60-70€
SSD disk 250Gb, the price that it is worth
RAM well I will do tests and if I see that it is short with 2, then I can add another 2.bye

I've been taking a look, and the truth is that there aren't many motherboards that meet those specific conditions.
This one seems to me to be one of the best options considering all the requirements you're looking for:
https://www.lambda-tek.es/MSI-760GMA-P34-FX-~sh/B1768514&viewSpec=y#productTop
I'll add another option here that's a bit more expensive, but quite recommendable:

many thanks sylver for the information provided…
Note: On the Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P motherboard, I see that the format is ATX, and I need Micro, but could it work?
regards
-
Yes, it is indeed ATX format, which is why I didn't give it to you at first (I knew it wouldn't suit your needs).
So keep the MSI one.
Best regards
-
Sorry, but I still have a doubt about whether I could put the ATX in the case I have, what do you think?
-
It's that I don't know what box you have specifically, you haven't put the model, only the power supply.
Greetings
-
sorry…you are absolutely right, sometimes it seems that one becomes so blind that they do not realize something so obvious.I will send you the model and the photo inside.
it is called: VENTO A8

thanks and bye2

With so much free PCI slot space I can tell you that it will fit

The Gigabyte that I have put in it supports it perfectly: http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=4591
And the MSI I think also, look at the reference of your micro, I think it is on the list: MSI España - Ordenadores, portátiles, Notebook, Sobremesa, Placas Base, Tarjetas Gráficas y más

I think everything gets complicated in the end... now I realize that I'm going to have problems with the USB 3.0 ports, because my case only has USB 2.0 front ports, and from what I'm finding out, the connectors are physically incompatible... that is, I can't use those 2 connectors that I have on the front of the case, is this true?
Any suggestions?
-
Well, if you want the front USB 3.0 ports, you're going to have to change the case, you have no other choice.
That, or make a homemade fix if you're very handy, but it requires a lot of effort and patience. I've never done that for USB ports.
Best regards

we also have this option:

I hadn't thought of that, it could be a good option, as long as you don't have a bay of that size occupied.
