Insufficient memory problem in Windows 7.
-
Good afternoon, it seems like I was lost, but I'm back here.It turns out that I have a friend, to whom I once built the following computer:
- Tacens Anima
- Tacens Anima 500W
- Asrock B85M HDS
- Intel Pentium G3220
- 4GB DDR3 1333
- Seagate 1TB SATA3
Due to a voltage surge a few weeks ago, the PC stopped working. He brought it to me, and we saw that it was apparently the power supply, although the rear USB 2.0 ports were failing, the front ones were not. (I don't know if this was happening before).
I must say that I kept using the PC until the parts for the upgrade arrived and everything was working fine. But, Mr. Windows, presented me with the following error, when it was completely EMPTY.
Does anyone know what this could be due to? The PC has been running for several hours and I haven't noticed anything strange, except for this. Now I will test all the parts.
It has now been upgraded to a Core i5 4460, 2x4GB DDR3 2400, Aerocool KCAS 700W 80 Plus.
Thanks in advance!

Check the hard drive (with CrystalDiskInfo for example), it may have been damaged. Check if the partition table is correct.

I just tried Crystal Disk Info, and it seems like everything is correct, I think I'll run a linux or something and reinstall things.

You haven't changed the motherboard in the upgrade, have you? It's a bad sign that the USBs fail after a power supply problem. Have you run a memtest on it?

If connectors start to fail, it is a sign that it is about to go to the recycling pile

The fact is that I couldn't check if the USBs were failing by default or not before the voltage increase, I will say that I've been using the 4460 at full and it hasn't had any problems. But the front USB2.0s do work. In the end it was the file that was corrupt.

I had had the same problem, but in the end I couldn't solve it
