GTX 970, but which one?
-
Hello forum members, I have a story to tell you:
I am interested in buying a new graphics card. I was looking at the GTX970, I am an Nvidia fan. The problem is that I am undecided between several models that have the same brands.
At first, I had decided on the ASUS STRIX instead of the WINDFORCE from GIGABYTE:
Asus GeForce Strix GTX 970 DirectCU II OC 4GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 Gaming G1 WindForce OC 4GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
But then I saw others like the MSI ones and I got lost:
MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
MSI GeForce GTX970 Armor 2X OC 4GB GDDR5 Black/White Graphics Card
and finally I saw another one from ASUS with Turbo that made a mess of me
:Asus GeForce GTX970 OC Turbo 4GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
What can you tell me, advise or guide me?
Thanks!

What changes is basically the OC that comes factory-installed.
If you want a 970, get the cheapest one (don't worry if it's refurbished, the warranty is the same).Edit: In my opinion, the prices of the 970 and 980 are ridiculous, with the next generation just months away. :wall:

Basically between the Asus that you mentioned first, the Gigabyte G1 and the MSI twin force the differences are few, choose the one you find cheaper of these three. Of the others but of the same brand, for example the 2x of msi, they change the materials that are a little worse and that do not have a backplate, which is a surface that makes the graphics card more robust. Since you are going to spend money on a 970 I would look at the first three for the quality of materials.
