Unrecognizable memories, what can I do?
-
Hello, well you see I decided to expand the memory and of course, in order to take advantage of it in the future I went with the "big horse whether it walks or not walks" and it doesn't walk :wall:.
Hardware.
Motherboard Asrock g41c-gs ASRock > G41C-GS
Processor Intel e4400 Intel
Coreâ„¢2 Duo Processor E4400 (2M Cache, 2.00 GHz, 800 MHz FSB) Specifications
Memory HyperX FURY Memory Blue - 4GB- DDR3 1600MHz X2 http://www.kingston.com/en/memory/search/?partid=hx316c10f/4 PDF specifications http://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/HX316C10F_4.pdf
I have updated the BIOS to the latest version, moved the motherboard's jumper to force the memory to 1333 and cleared CMOS I don't know what else I've done.
It turns on… but it doesn't make any beeps, nor does it give a signal to the screen, so I can't even get into the BIOS.
Any suggestions? -
I suppose so, but… Have you tried putting the modules in one at a time? To see if it beeps or something...
I think that because they are faster, if the frequencies are not always adjusted automatically (mysteries of life), it might be necessary to configure them manually from the BIOS, but if it doesn't start up, you're in the same situation.
So you could try putting one of the old modules you had before the purchase, booting up just to lower the frequencies in BIOS manually (to 1066 or 800 to be sure) and then make the memory change, to see if it beeps. Sometimes these tricks work well for conflicting memories.

Why did you buy 1600 modules when the motherboard supports a maximum of 1333?
In my opinion, it does not detect the RAM. If it does not give a RAM error code, try booting without modules connected and check if the same thing happens.
As Sylver points out, if possible, try again with the old modules. -
They should work at SPD @ DDR3-1066 CL7-7-7 @1.5V …. are you sure they are properly plugged in and have made the "clack"? Return the memos and buy a value ram 1066Mhz with Samsung chips... otherwise get some micron - > http://eu.crucial.com/eur/en/compatible-upgrade-for/ASRock/g41c-gs Good luck -
Nothing, there is no way, without modules it beeps.
In theory they should work but no, the problem is that the market is not very stocked with 4 gig modules at 1333 or slower.
As for those Crucial ballistix tactical the store where I bought them has them but they are the 8 gig ones, I will have to look for some value ones as slow as I can find and those will surely work .Thanks for reading me and for the contributions.

It might be easier for you to join Hard2Mano, if you're not in the guild send me a PM... :troll:

Good yesterday the new memories arrived and I just plugged them in. Everything worked the first time without touching anything :happygirl.
In case someone arrives at this post via google and is looking for some memories for this board (which I doubt since it's old) the Crucial Ballistix Sport 4GB DDR3-1600 BLS4G3D1609DS1S00 work. Thanks Espinetenbolas for the Crucial compatibility page.
And to Sylver if I decide I'll tell you things, it's appreciated. How happy I am :ugly:
