Problems with Asus P7P550 LE
-
Hello, good afternoon, let's see I hope I can solve the problem that has me a little worried.
I have been given an asus p7p550 le motherboard, I have assembled everything and the monitor does not turn on, so I interpret that it has not recognized the graphics card and I have to access the bios, but how?? if the motherboard does not have a vga, hdmi or dvi output. What do I do for God's sake!! Help me.:wall: -
Well, very simple... read the instruction manual and look for how to reset the BIOS... with that it should start: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1156/P7P55D_Pro/E4988_P7P55D_PRO_v2.zipIf you are not clear, turn off the power, remove the battery for 15 seconds and put it back... it is the same thing, although more extensive.
Also check the rest of the switches and jumpers to see if you have any set to do Overclock... of course cancel them and leave them in NORMAL... to do this, of course, consult the manual.

Thanks espinete, my scarce knowledge has led me to reset the bios, but instead of removing the battery for 15 seconds simply, I have added the attempt to boot without it for four or five times, so it is supposed to reset, but... It has not been like that. I will see if I learn English and extract the information from the manual. My most sincere thanks for your time.

Could you indicate the brand and model of the graphics card and the brand and power of the power supply?
-
And if the board does not have a built-in speaker, connecting one to see if it emits any beep is not a bad idea.

Hello, if I tell you, the power supply is 700w, the graphics card is a gforce 9600 xfx.
