Review AMD RX 480 By Javisoft
-
New update with all the data under DX12 on the crimson 16.7.1, now I just have to put it through its paces and I'll finish the review!!!
-
What a beastly document you are creating :sisi:
-
It is the least that one should do when making a review, a complete analysis, what some websites do (that charge and dedicate themselves exclusively to it) is a bit laughable.
In my opinion, the fault lies with the reader for not demanding and swallowing such articles, but well, it doesn't rain to everyone's liking.
By the way, to say that the review has taken 81 hours of work.
Best regards!!!

That's not paid... I would redefine the terms of economic supply of the forum and allocate a part as a salary for hardworking forum members of this level :troll:
Best regards!

I would be pm, at least so that you could give me the info to buy the 1060 and upload data to compare XD.
-
Soon I will try it on my computer, to see if what javisoft has told us is true

-
Garfield tell us, how has my girl been in your hands XD.

There is a MOD-Bios to unlock the full potential of the card for those who may be interested:

I saw it last week, when the girl comes back I will have anchors for the block and finish the tests XD.
-
Hello, this morning the girl arrived, and I discovered a few things.
First, some bad news for those of us with an am3 or am3+ …...... it barely performs.
By analyzing the small tests, I found out that the simple fact that the pcie is controlled by the chipset is an insurmountable bottleneck. So much so that it is barely superior to my 7970.The test equipment I used is my own computer. An Amd 1100T with an asrock 970 Pro3 R2.0 with its 8gb of cas9 ddr3 memory at 1866mhz. A 256gb Samsung SSD 840evo hard drive. And its coolermaster G650M power supply
I mainly used two programs. PassMark and CINEBENCH_R15. I know they are not the best, but they are the ones that evaluate the performance suitable for an average user. Let's say the one that will use a full HD and little more.
The graphics cards I had available for the tests are:
PowerColor 6850
sapphire Hd7970
sapphire RX480
As you can see, three cards with several years of difference. In the first photo, I have the comparison of the CINEBENCH_R15. where something curious is noticed.....the performance is almost identical between the HD7970 and RX480. We will see the reasons later.

Conclusion.
To my liking it is a very very good card. it is expected to be at a better price than the 7970 that I currently have and that even improving the performance so little because of the same computer. that does not leave more room. recommendable. yes, that with a computer like the one in today's tests you would notice the performance... well no. but the consumption.

-
Well, now it's my turn to post the graphics of this card. But let me rest, I've been working 12 hours a week and I'm pretty tired to post the graphics of the tests I did.
In a completely subjective way, I think the graphics are wonderful, for cost, performance and consumption.
I have the data of Titanfall all in ultra, the Heaven test also in ultra, and Tom Clancy the same, all in 1080p, I don't have a monster monitor like javisoft's.
Thanks to jsavisoft for lending us the graphics for a few days so we can try new things
PD: And what a shame I didn't have Doom with Vulkan to put it here.
