New pc configuration, to accompany rx480 8gb and ssd evo 850 500gb
-
Hello fellow forum members, currently having a good pc, I would like to know as a matter of interest, if it gives me the urge to upgrade because I currently have cash, to upgrade my pc to the maximum (the one I have in the signature)
I have a radeon rx480 8gb, samsung evo 850 500gb ssd, aercool strike -x 600w power supply
It would be oriented towards a pcgamer, so the micro and the motherboard would have to have the possibility of oc
Let's see what machines you advise me.
Greetings and congratulations on the forum.

That equipment for that card is still sufficient… not to mention that with the OC you have on you are more than enough.
If you want to change just for the sake of changing, get a 6700K but the improvement will be unnoticeable... in games what matters is the GPU and that the CPU can move the game well.

Not to mention the fact that games are not poorly optimized when they come out, but they come out in Beta and they keep patching them as they see fit, and they even monetize early access to Alphas and so on.
Maximum profit, for increasingly mediocre products.
Regards!

To put that micro in trouble, you would have to use an Nvidia SLI 1070 - 1080. In some games I have read that the micro can be put at more than 80-90%. But as I indicate, for that you should use a very powerful graphic configuration.
With the 480, even though AMD graphics are more dependent on the micro than Nvidia, it will not bottleneck your micro. You have a very good micro, and if you are a very gamer and have extra money, then invest in more powerful graphics. Anyway, the 480 moves most games to Full HD very well, and many games to higher resolution as well, so enjoy the graphics and the equipment for a good time before considering a change.
