Do I have a bottleneck between my CPU and GPU? I attach a Shadow of Mordor photo
-
Hello fellow forum members, after getting a sappire rx480 8gb, I decided to run some tests to see the balance of my pc, since my cpu and motherboard are a bit old.
I have an I5 3570K with oc to 4200mhz, a Gigabyte Z77X-D3H motherboard, 24gb of ddr3 1600mhz ram, and a 600w aercool strike-x power supply
I have attached a photo with a screenshot of the load of the cpu, gpu, memory, to see what you think and if there is a bottleneck, so if there is I would upgrade my pc by changing the cpu, motherboard, and memory.
Best regards and thanks for your help.

It doesn't look like it, supposedly the graphics card is working at 100%, while the processor cores are at 40% at most. Honestly, with that set of micro and memory, with the overclock you have on the micro… I wouldn't spend the money on changing. Another thing is that you are one of those who need to have the maximum points in a 3dmark, but for gaming, don't even bother changing because you won't notice even a 2-3% difference at normal resolutions of an rx480. -
Thanks Kynes, I feel more at ease now, now I have to try with other games, any recommendations to draw more conclusions? I have the wisher 3 and the dark souls 3

I agree with Kynes that that rig is very good, we must bear in mind that the RX 480 is what it is: a mid-to-low range graphics card and consequently it performs as such. On the other hand, the fact that it is a reference model, so, taking everything into account, that rig meets expectations in terms of performance.
If you feel more at ease by putting in a 1070 (which is also a good option for that processor), it's your money. In fact, if you sell it, it should be before the custom 480s start to appear in stores. -
Thanks for your response too, but I think I'll stick with my RX480, it's a future-proof card with dirext 12 and vulkan, with an excellent price.
I don't want Nvidia with Pascal, directx 11 is not the future and it's already over, and besides it has an expiration date when it comes to improving its drivers, so its cards have a very short life span in terms of support.
AMD has improved a lot and in my honest opinion, I'll stick with the rx480 of 8gb.
Greetings!!!!!!!!
