Hello fellow forum members, yesterday I bought some headphones for my PC to play online games, like counter or left4dead.
Can you recommend some good software for talking and listening to friends while I play?
Greetings to all.

Just a little thing, guys, I've already installed teamspeak 3 and messed around with it a bit, I've set up the mic correctly on my pc, the thing is, do I need these types of programs to be able to use the mic in games like counter strike and similar, or does the game itself do it when you connect and enable the mic?
Regards and thanks for your help.

The integrated voice chat of most games usually leaves much to be desired. People usually use TeamSpeak, Mumble, RaidCall or Ventrilo. The advantage of using a third-party program is that only those who want will be there, so if there are more people on your team that you don't know, they don't have to listen to you.

As krampak rightly says, those are the most common ones, and if you play with people you know it's ideal because you save yourself having foreigners, and a possible fauna of undesirables who can join the game's "voice chat", giving it all the time.
For my part, I would add Skype, as strange as it may seem, because although it has the drawback of taking up quite a lot of bandwidth (in the rest you can adjust the sound quality depending on your connection), it saves you the initial hassle of looking for a fast server, setting it up, etc.
Minus RaidCall, I've used the rest on occasion and they all allow automatic activation by noise threshold, push to talk, or always open microphone.
