New PC, recommendations
-
Hello, I'm thinking about changing my PC and I've been looking into what hardware to buy, but I wanted to know the opinion of people who probably know more about it than I do.
The use I'm going to give it initially is going to be daily home use, but in the future I plan to use it for more or less new games
The budget I have at the moment is around $8000 for now, at least for the main hardware, then I'll keep updating. In this budget would not be included the disk (an SSD and HDD of 1 TB), nor the case.
What do you think of this configuration?
- Micro Amd Fx 8320e - $2550
- Mother Gigabyte GA970a-ds3p (does not support DDR4) - $1790
- Memory Ram 8gb Ddr3 1866 Mhz Kingston Hyperx Fury - $790
- Power supply I have no idea which one to buy
Any recommendations?
Edit: now that I see this motherboard doesn't have integrated video! Any similar one that has, or from another brand??

First of all, Welcome to the Forum :sisi:
To the point. In that configuration there is no graphics card, so the first thing you need is one, because neither the micro has an integrated one, nor would the motherboard support it if it had one.
I would look better at an i5 platform, but if you want to push the limits of good, beautiful and cheap, perhaps the AMD FM2+ platform to put a micro with a graphics card that allows you to play more demanding games, can solve your problem.
Look at an AMD A8-7600 or AMD A10-7860K.
See you later!

I would recommend you to build a team based on Intel, it doesn't matter if it's 1150 or 1151.
A basic i5 (4460 for 1150 or 6400 for 1151) in addition to having integrated graphics performs much better than the best of the FX and isn't much more expensive.
As for the motherboard, the basic ones. A B150 (for socket 1151 and DDR4 memory) or a B85 (for socket 1150 and DDR3 memory).
As for the power supply, in principle for something so basic it would be enough with a Corsair CX430 80+ Bronze (430 W), and it would support you installing a GTX 1060 or an RX 470.

Hello, thank you for the recommendation!
Well, after doing some research I'm going to go with Intel anyway… I'm between the Intel I5 6400 6th Gen Skylake and the 6500. There's a $550 difference but one is 2.7 Ghz and the other is 3.2 Ghz, so I'm in doubt.
As for the motherboard, I'm going to go with the H170 chipset, since the differences with the Z170 are not interesting. Now I have to choose brand and model, so if you have anything to recommend me, it's welcome!
What do you think about the brands Asrock, MSI, Biostar, etc.. because the price difference is considerable.
As for the power supply I'm going to go with EVGA or Seasonic. How many watts would you recommend if in the future I plan to add a video card?
Thank you, very good recommendations! -

I like this configuration, but my budget went to hell

Mother Asus H170-m Plus - $2750 - $109 shipping
Intel I5 6400 - $3700 - $90 shipping
Intel I5 6500 - $4250 - $90 shipping
Ram 8gb Ddr4 2400mhz 2x4gb Gskill Ripjaws 5 - $1050 - $90
Funte Seasonic S12ii 520w - $1750 - free shipping
**Total: $9539 - $10100**Also for now I could save the power supply and put the one I currently have, a Sentey ERP 400-ss, but I don't trust it much...
