The HIPS option in Eset Nod32 blocks the installation of programs.

Hello I want to start this topic, as I have been having problems for about 6 or 7 months when installing programs, when I try to install them I get ERROR 5. DENIED ACCESS and others like UNABLE TO EXECUTE FILE IN THE TEMPORARY DIRECTORY. SETUP ABORTED., this was happening to me under Windows XP SP3, I have a dual boot and I use Win10 and WinXP.
Well I was changing permissions to folders, changing environment variables, everything,,and it turns out that today while searching I found a page from a Microsoft forum, where it alluded to this case but under Windows 8.1, so I decided to apply the story and disabled the HIPS, from Nod32, and voila everything works like before...
I hope it helps someone, as I thought that my computer had been hacked...:face_palm_tone3:
PD. Most programs from the Desktop would not start, I thought I had corrupt installations, but that one would not uninstall... the culprit was the HIPS.

Normally, when you block an element, the antivirus alert pops up explaining what and why it has been blocked.
In any case, it does that to me and I tell the antivirus to go to **hell**.

Thanks for sharing.
