Well, that's it, I've switched to Windows 10 and I notice a difference in performance, especially with the SSD. I'll send you some pictures. What could it be? I've deleted Windows Defender, Security Center and other things that could interfere and although it has improved a lot, it's still bad. I wouldn't want to go back to Win7 but I notice it's more fluid than 10. Regards. The disk is a Crucial M4. By the way, I'll send you a screenshot of when I bought it in 2012, in Write it seems to have dropped a bit, will it be because it's old?

Nonsense. I've already messed with this and since version 7 with TRIM it's not something you'll notice unless we're talking about VERY demanding environments. Crucial MX300 and it goes miles, if it's for current M.2 equipment it's more comfortable. The important thing is the access time* and at most disabling some C-State. As long as you don't have it maxed out or you don't put a lot of writing on it, it's going to work well for a long time. Editing: Don't misunderstand my message please ? I appreciate all analysis ? Editing2: By the way, I've seen super-green PCIe drives fail in audio environments (the mess could be extrapolated to other uses) because of latency ? *Everyone has this, so it's not crap, from the mentioned Crucial or a 750 EVO onwards we're talking about something decent. I stick with Crucial for price/mega, even more so when we're talking about M.2. For something more casual a WD of 120GB.

          hehe I don't misunderstand, thanks ?

so for the win10 and win7 thing I don't have to worry?

it's worse the access time too. what is that C-state thing?

          Win10 currently:

Right now Nvidia performs equally in games 11 VS 12 and AMD scratches a little. It's not a reason to change if you have 7 but, there is a little improvement with each OS. Add your personal judgment to see if it fits or not. I had 7 and I bought a 10 license because I got a 1070 and although I knew it was not imminent, the game that wins in DX12 or even does not come out in 11 is going to arrive.

Editing: The access time is something that all SSDs have ridiculous compared to a magnetic one and the C-states are sleep modes that are configured in BIOS, before starting the System, a motherboard thing.
