Calculate screen size knowing the inches
-
I was looking at screens for my new projector but on most sites the size is in inches and what I need is to know the width and height of the screen to see if it fits on the wall. So I spent some time doing some trigonometry and here I leave you the formula to go from inches to width and height of a 16:9 screen.

The result I have is this:
horizontal length=2.21·inches
vertical length=1.25·inches
In my case I saw an interesting screen for the 120" projector which would be 265x149cm.
I hope it helps you!
