I've been thinking for a while about the new mod I'm going to do and after reconnecting with this community I thought that the theme could be Hardlimit. With my components it's going to be complicated to follow the forum's aesthetic, so the color range will not be the same in principle but I would like to include some element that identifies it as our big logo. I will start from here to a month, when I receive all the components, and I don't think I will do a worklog but I will try to update as much as possible with the progress of the mod in this branch. I would also like to receive your suggestions and comments about the project, if you have any idea maybe I can carry it out. The components -for now- are these: Case Thermaltake Core P5 Motherboard MSI X370 Titanium (white/black/titanium?) PSU Superflower Leadex platinum 1000W (white) VGA 2x EVGA GTX 1070 Founders Edition The cooling I'm still designing it, since the case doesn't support many radiators and I want to mount a setup capable of keeping the whole system cool with the fans below 700RPM Dual DDC-1T Quad radiator Rigid tubing of course, although I'm not too fond of juggling with the tubes (I love the "straight builds"), I prefer to use elbows and really bend when necessary.

Welcome back to your home. -
Let's see if you can awaken the moderate vein that we all carry within. I am subscribed!

@Forenaits, you have no idea how much this thread motivates me.

I am like the companions... In fact, I first entered HardLimit attracted by some of the mods that were made here. This is a return to the origins in full. Keep it up.
Greetings!

Many thanks to everyone. I have to say that in the end I have succumbed to the Ryzen taking advantage of the fact that I was going to change the motherboard and memory, we will see how the invention turns out.
At first it will be mounted on the MSI X370 Titanium which has a particular color pcb.

Yes, it is curious, almost all in black and white, rear connectors in red and two of the PCIe-16x seem chromed. It can be very versatile.

In reality it doesn't have anything white, it also seemed that way to me when I saw it in images. The color is actually silver, supposedly "titanium" color.
All the PCIe 16x are chromed as well as the DDR4 slots...I feel like putting a chromed rigid tube all over it but I don't have the tools to manipulate it u.U

By the end of next week I hope to have received all the parts, for now I leave you "the list" to make your mouth water a little bit:

Yes you make me jealous, yes

I can't wait to see it.

Madre mia, 4700€??
Wouldn't the SLI of 1070 be better to change for a 1080Ti?
-
Let's see what hasn't happened in a while and this looks good, tests and cool stuff about Ryzen that one should update soon.

Yes, but when I bought the cards the Ti had not yet been released, anyway the SLI is more for aesthetics than anything else. And although the total is going to almost 5000€ I have managed to get many parts much cheaper.
The 1700X without going further, at the price of the 1700
By the way I leave you some pictures, for now I am measuring to assemble the RL as soon as possible and then I will start with the modding of the wiring, the lighting and some details in plexi that I have thought of.

What a cucumber you're going to build!!
I wonder how that Ryzen and those GTX1070 are, but I think you're going to enjoy building it and giving it good use.I'm happy with my 4790k and my gtx970, which I hope will last me a long time!!
Best regards!!.
