The price of DDR4 keeps on rising

RAM is starting to become one of the most expensive components in a PC. Since last summer, its price has doubled.

According to reports, this increase in price is also due to the fact that manufacturers are maintaining the same production rate and even reducing it to produce SSD memory. The result is a shortage of memory modules for both devices and an increase in price for both.
Guys, take care of your SSD and RAM and make sure they don't break in the coming months if you don't want to see your pockets get lighter. -
With the equipment I had with a Pentium E5300 I learned that if memory is cheap, buy twice as much, because when you want to expand it, it's sky-high. And this is valid for other components. Now I have the NUC with 16Gb, although 8Gb would have been enough for me.
I have SSDs in all the computers except the netbook and the retro one, so I always have a spare, but I hope the Samsung lasts a few more years.

The thing is that then they change the standard and it sucks, even with SSDs it was clear a while ago that SATA was not enough for them and now they are going full speed with M2 and others. Let's see if some fines are imposed and prices start to drop because I need to buy

And I with 2 kits to sell (48Gb in total) at a ridiculous price and no one buys them...
It is also true that DDR4 had a scandalous price drop in one year, I think it was from 2014 to 2015, I paid for my first kit at a gold price (almost 300€ for 16Gb CL12) when now you have it for practically 100€.
