Hello.
I was thinking about buying a new Gaming PC and I was attracted to this computer from the Revolution Computer store.
The characteristics of this PC would be as follows:
CPU: Core i7 7700K
Motherboard: Asus Maximus Hero IX
RAM: Kingston 16 GB DDR4 2133
Graphics card: Gigabyte GF 1080 WF 8 GB GDDR5
HDD: 2 TB (necessary to store music and games)
Optical drive: DVD RW DL burner (necessary to install programs and games)
SSD: 240 GB
Power supply: NOX HUMMER 850 W
Cooling: NOX Líquida H240L
Case: NOX Coolbay ZXThe price of this PC amounts to 1,856 €
I would like to know if this computer is good, or if I should improve it.
Regards.

@jpg1975, switch to X99. That which they sell you is less than the graphics, the rest is nothing. Compare the same on other component pages. For the ssd, better switch to M.2 nvme drives, which is where you really gain a lot of speed. The power supply doesn't attract me, and the memory at 2133, when you could put one at 3000, which intel can get a lot of performance out of those memories, something that AMD with the Ryzen can't.
In summary. NOP -

+1 to everything

Well. There have been changes at the end, since I didn't really like Kingston. SSD: Crucial 525 GB RAM: Corsair 16 GB DDR4 3000 Power supply: Cooler Master G750M 80+ Bronze Optical drive: LG Bluray burner -
In your case, I would consider the offer currently available on Amazon for the Medion S91 for less than €700

Just the GTX1060 6GB graphics card is almost half the price, and it's an i5, with a W10 license, etc...

Hello:
I still can't see it. A Z270 platform with the prices of the x299, I don't see it. SSD having M.2 either. Liquid cooling, good.
Memory 2400... with the price of the 3000. The blueray, or at least for me, is unnecessary. I think I use it once a year... if I'm lucky. And when I use it, it's to record an Xp for some old equipment.
If you're going to spend 1900€ on a computer, at least get one that will be profitable when resold.
