Hello, how are you not stopping much here now, we grow up and there is no time for everything..
I want you to advise me on two monitors, I want to change one that is failing me and any day it will not turn on. I have decided on these two:

LG 25UM58-P 25" LED IPS Ultrawide
      Samsung C24F390 24" LED Curvo

They are different concepts, hence the doubt I have..

As always THANK YOU FOR YOUR WISE ADVICE..

I'm not a fan of curved ones... I don't like them at all.
          It's a matter of taste...
I would never buy a curved one myself

            Hello,

Wouldn't it be better for you to rent a regular one but a bigger one? I'm a bit like Namiga, I'm curved and I don't think I'll ever have one, and the Ultrawide ones seem a bit uncomfortable to me, I feel like I'm missing a screen at the top.

As I always say, from first hand I can assure you that a 27" panoramic monitor is one of the best choices I have made in my life.
Brands: A priori BenQ, Dell, LG.

            Best regards!

It would be as the main monitor, I don't use more than one. And 27" seems exaggerated for the distance I'm at...

I like the 21:9 aspect ratio, but I think the screens are too small, I think they are more reasonable in size at 27-29" because you have to keep in mind that the more panoramic the screen, the smaller the inches are because they are measured diagonally rather than in a more square monitor. The only drawbacks I see are that the higher the resolution, the more graphics you will need and that movies and games that are not optimized will leave you with some beautiful black bars on the sides. ? alt text A 55" TV has 1449 (4:3) vs. 1291 (16:9) vs. 1074 (21:9) counting the entire surface. If we use content from another ratio, discounting the black bands, the graph shows all the possible in square inches of useful surface area, from which I draw the conclusion that if you are going to view things of all types of ratios, the most balanced is the 16:9, but for gaming, it should be noted that almost all current ones will work in 21:9 with which you will "only" lose 20% of the surface vs one of the same inches in 16:9.

You have the LG of 29" at the price of the 25", so maybe it doesn't seem so big to you ;D

In the end I got the UltraWide, I decided on something new, although it would have been better at 29" or more, the 25" one looks very short, but the experience is very rewarding..

By the way the 24" curved one is at 143 € in Alcampo...
