wooden boxes to modify speakers
-
well, that's it, I have a creative sound blaster 5.1
center speaker
two front
two rear
and subwofer with wooden box
I'm going to mess around with the PC room and I'll take the opportunity to put the speakers (behind me) and the cables are short.... since I have to come up with something and thinking that I don't like them aesthetically (the speaker boxes) I thought about making them out of wood (veneer) but one thing leads to another.... could I mount other speakers a little better without having to mount amplifiers? what should I look for?
the use is to listen to music without too many pretensions (I don't need a H F) and play (although half the time I'm listening to music....
greetings and thanks -
First, the impedance and power of the speakers you have.
With a low impedance, you will have more power... But you could burn the amp if you go too far...
Check the power of the speakers first -
In my opinion, it's not worth getting involved in those matters. If you don't require much, it's better to get a pair of Woxter for 45 euros on Amazon. You'll lose low frequencies (they're 2.0) but you'll gain in quality and you won't need an amp since they're self-amplified and they won't take up much space. I'll give you a model: https://www.amazon.es/Woxter-Dynamic-Line-DL-410-multimedia/dp/B00GO1M458/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1534109011&sr=8-4&keywords=woxter
