[Short entry] Oracle changes the terms of use for Java
-
It seems that Oracle continues to strive to kill the successes of Sun's legacy. This time it's Java's turn since this monster has decided to change the terms of use so that it can no longer be used freely for commercial purposes.
As they say here, it is interesting that they have done it without giving too many clues either on the download page or in the name of the program. Now the company will be able to take advantage of all those unsuspecting people who decide to update to Java 11 for commercial purposes.
By the way, the Java development environment has a twin brother called OpenJDK.
