I come to complain about the Internet. I remember when everything was countryside as far as the eye could see. Websites were made with notepad and the backgrounds were animated gifs of 16 colors. Everything was tacky, ugly and jarring to the eyes. But the content was honest.

It's a load of nonsense but I had a good laugh with the "...Rul3s did a review, he fucked them, and since then we haven't received a product testing request again...." part.
There you go, we may be poor in products, but honest!!

P.D: If someone needs to review a 2080, a 9900K or a Ryzen I volunteer.... I promise to be just as tough as with the last one xD

The thing with auto-generated text is one of the things I hate the most when I search on google. Pages with advertising that have only filler and ads but appear in the top 5 google results with the text I was looking for. I don't remember what topic it was, I think it was about drivers, which happened to me often and of course, they didn't contain the driver.

Now there are also countless pages that compare products in an automated way, they come up searching for anything in the style of "RX580 vs RX570", although the truth is that despite not having their own opinions, the information is quite good.

You come across heaps of auto-generated pages when you search for the solution to a computer error, especially on Windows. Some always recommend the same steps but change the text of the specific error, whether it's something like irq_not_less_or_equal or "Error run32.dll", the rest of the text will be the same. Does it sound familiar to you to have arrived at the Solvusoft website or something similar?

As for what networks are like and what they used to be, I totally agree. I've also thought many times, "Where is that Google ability to find what you were looking for as if it could read your mind and now there's nothing but crap?"

And when it comes to chats or instant messaging, I would find it hard to choose which one I've had more of a dislike for, whether it's Messenger or WhatsApp, which doesn't happen with Telegram, why? Because of the type of contacts I have in each one, through WhatsApp family, friends, work colleagues (I even made the mistake of being in a group with work colleagues) and in Telegram thematic groups or my siblings, who fortunately get along very well and none of them are a pain in the neck. Messenger was the WhatsApp of the PC, and some bad vibes came my way through there.

Moreover, the proliferation of current social networks and messaging networks means that we are bombarded by all kinds of quick information that we almost forget once read, in the form of headlines or little more, without verifying in many cases, and looking for visits (clickbait). This can be seen even in the middle of classic information in their internet editions, if you don't go to AS to see what kind of headlines you find, some that seem to be devised by the teenage son of some editor.

Let's go for more things, Youtube. To give you an example, I've always liked mystery topics, you may know some radio programs, TV or magazines on the subject, some with many years behind them. Without believing in most things, I liked to see that other point of view, and who knows if to bring out some truth or lesson. Now there are a handful of Youtube channels on the subject that give me secondhand embarrassment, not because they like the topic, but because they look to see which topic or title is more pompous to attract visits, and therefore money. At first some made me laugh and I used to follow them regularly, but you realize there are so many "crap" that not even they believe it that I stopped following them. Moreover, as a defense I have become very critical of that type of topics and more of scientific topics and with common sense, there is too much lie, too much garbage, all for a visit.

And to the heart of the matter, the one that concerns our community. With such an influx of products, reviews, etc... only certain success is achieved if the opinions are good, and brands do whatever it takes to achieve it. Then there are some that achieve good fame thanks to their good products and good work, but hey, that has to be worked for and needs investment, why do it if you can incentivize people to make good publicity for you?

Everything in the end comes down to two factors, ease of access and production of information, and on the other hand money or popularity.

            This has come to stay.

The fault of it all is Rul3s xDDD
I have developed a spider sense over the years and just by seeing the domain of the web I can see if it's crap or if it can be useful (some still slip through) but in some searches I still go to the second page to find quality info.
The other thing that often works for me is to stop using google. I know it's difficult, but there is life beyond the google monopoly. As a search engine I usually use duckduckgo and only if I can't find something do I use google
