Oc RX570
-
Greetings:
Well, for Christmas I bought myself an Asus Strix RX570 with 4gb, and I've been looking for the best way to OC it a bit. According to GPU-z, the memory is an elpida, the worst in terms of timings, but from what little I've touched it, lowering the core by 50mv and the memory with the voltage it comes with, I've set it to 1400/2000mhz at 68º with an ambient temperature of 18º on the company's equipment. But I read that there was an automatic way to know how much you can lower the voltage at a speed. Wattman only allows you to set the voltage and speed according to the load of the graphics card, but it will be age, that if I can do it automatically to have a base, better.
I still have to change the thermal paste, but it has the warranty sticker, which I have to peel off, but I've been lazy this week (going back to work is very hard). -
@garfield I would wait before changing the thermal paste, call me crazy but I don't think you'll improve much or anything. My Asus GTX970 Strix has a similar cooler (maybe a little bigger, I'm not 100% sure) and it still has its original thermal paste because I doubt the previous owner changed it.
Enjoy the graphics, for the price you got it there are not many better options
When a good time passes, and you feel like it, then you do OC and whatever you see jejejeA hug!!

It's for tinkering. You see what people are doing and you get the bug. It's been so long since I messed around with the hardware I bought, that I get these deer in the headlights. Then I get lazy, because I don't have another pc here in case I blow it up :).
I'll see how far I get by trying, like we did 20 years ago.
Best regards
