In the end I got the Gigabyte Rx 570 Gaming 4 Gb Bulk version from coolmod for 109€. The offer for the same version for 145€ was gone in less than a day, they literally flew away just like the one I bought. I sold my old windforce oc 760 GTX 2 gb for 55€ so this new one almost came out even. Thanks for all your advice.

Good change, when it arrives you will tell us if you are happy with the change!

Joe, it's a good deal for you because for just over €55 you've upgraded your GPU and you'll notice a performance increase, plus you have more memory ?

You'll let us know how it goes!

@ broncoe Look at the bios that comes with that graphics card, which according to what I read is for mining, and comes with the power limit capped at 90W because of the consumption issue. Vo that there is a bios that removes that limit and you gain quite a bit in oc, like 1400 on the core and 2000 on the memory.

          Saludos

I don't know what Coolmod is doing, they are taking all the rx570 bulk off the market. But they still don't say that they are for mining. Curious. Today they released the offer for the 8gb rx570

I also read that, but I checked it on mine and everything was correct, so maybe initially they were for mining, but then they put normal bioses on them.
I am very happy with the 4GB one for 99€, a 10 out of 10 for coolmod for bringing us these offers.

Well, for that price, seeing that they keep coming out with deals like this, you can put together a crossfire for 200€ matching the performance of a 1070, so I don't care if they're for mining. If that's the case, you change the bios and that's it. The complaint that many users had was because they didn't put it anywhere. But as I said, at that price give me two.

I didn't know they were dedicated to mining, I'm not an expert in the field either but I understand that the cards dedicated to mining are capped in power?

Another thing, how can I check what you're telling me about whether it's limited and be able to solve it in case it was as you say?

The GPU-Z marks it, and with the polaris bios editor you can raise the power limit so that the graphics card doesn't fall short. What happens with the mining ones is not so much the performance, but that when you take them to the limit, the led of the graphics card tells you that it doesn't get enough voltage. But like everything, if you touch what you shouldn't, you're left with a paperweight. But it can be fixed by plugging it into another pc and flashing it again. It's not complicated, and I've already had to do it when I put in modified BIOS for memory timings and other stories.

And in the end how was the change? Have you noticed it in games? You should notice a nice FPS increase, not doubling the FPS but I'd say easily 40-50% more depending on the game.

                      https://www.gpucheck.com/compare/nvidia-geforce-gtx-760-vs-amd-radeon-rx-570/

On the other hand, a change you might consider is acquiring an I7 from your socket that is well priced. A 2600K can be found for about 80-85€. You sell your micro and for a few euros you would notice a change especially in games that use more than 4 cores. Like Battlefield. It's a change to leave a balanced team, games pull more from graphics than from micro. And don't think that by assembling a modern AMD you will move games much better, with all the money that the change of platform implies. That's why another cheap option is the I7.

I have an I7 2600k at 4.2 which as you can see is old with an RX 580 of 8 Gigas and the team with 16 Gigas of Ram gives me the ability to play at 1080p well and at 1440p depending on the game if I don't put details in ultra it goes decently.

If you don't see it as an option, I personally would stick with the current team, because spending about 500€ between memories, motherboard and micro, is a lot of money, and assembling a modern team, but with the graphics card you bought, it would be a lot of micro for that graphics card. More so considering how little it cost you. In summary, enjoy the new graphics card and either you spend little on a second-hand I7, or it's time to fork out a good amount of money.

I really appreciate your advice, it's an option I hadn't considered. The truth is that if I've managed to get a 20 and 35 frames more depending on the game. I know that updating the team completely is around the money you say, but I'm in no hurry from now until summer or after and the ryzen 3s come out. I'll gain some improvement in the games but already looking to the future of moving to 6 or 8 cores will give me the ability to work with multitasking and video editing.

Well, I think that's great. Enjoy the new graphics, those extra FPS, smoother gameplay, and when you have some money saved up, you'll see what to do with it. Not before. Congratulations, very good change for very little money.
