Backups in Windows 10

Hello, I have configured the backups in windows10 with the service that comes by default, I have a series of folders configured and I back them up to an external HDD.
The problem I have is when I click on the option "restore files from backups" which then opens the app, but it stays in the taskbar.
Do you have any ideas?

Unless the external is a USB3 SSD, it will probably take a while to show you the information about the copies it contains.

I'm tinkering and I make copies from the C drive (SSD) to the D drive which is mounted locally and is a normal HDD.
