The wifi on my laptop disconnects
-
Hello, I have a laptop with Windows 10, Asus model, intel celeron CPU N3050 processor, 4GB RAM, 64 Bits, which I use at home basically. Until now I have never had problems with the wifi, both with a TP-link or without it. I have also not changed the router.
I have tried several things from tutorials that I have seen on the net and I can connect but after a while (1h. for example, sometimes 10 minutes) it disconnects, even after restarting the device.
I would be very grateful if you could help me.

Hello,
To test, check the power settings, in case at some point the system tries to save energy due to inactivity or usage time and disconnects some function (like the wireless adapter or simply the network connection).
If there has been any recent software update (mostly Windows 10) it is possible that there has also been some modification of parameters or even of compatibilities, but I see it as less likely since the connection works even if it is for a short time.
I hope I have helped you.
Best regards.

@operari This document is from Lenovo but I think you can try most of the tests it proposes:
