My PC does not turn on sometimes.
-
Hello,
It turns out that when I press the power button the PC does not turn on (it does nothing), in order for it to turn on again I have to disconnect it from the power and wait a few seconds, when I plug it in again it starts up without any problems. I have already disconnected and reconnected all the cables that go to the motherboard; but the problem persists. It seems that the problem arises after being off for a few hours because I have tried turning it off and on after a few minutes or an hour and it turns on without any problems. Apart from that, the PC works very well without any problems.
I don't know if it has anything to do with it; but the other day my keyboard and mouse fell to the floor because where they were resting came loose and fell to the floor; after that the PC did not react, the mouse did not move, nothing worked, neither the power button nor the reset. The monitor showed a distorted striped fixed image and a strange sound came from the cabinet. I had no choice but to disconnect it from the power, when I plugged it in again and turned it on, the PC turned on and off, the solution came from disconnecting the RAM modules and reconnecting them and it started up without any problems. Unfortunately this happened to me, up to that moment I never had any problems, I don't know if it has any relation to the power button that doesn't work or if it's just a coincidence.

Common symptom of a faulty power supply.
Replace it with one of sufficient power and at least with bronze certification.

Finally I took it to the technician, as the day came when I could no longer turn it on. It was the power supply.
Thanks for your answers.
