Disassembling the Steam Deck

Valve has published a video showing how the Steam Deck is disassembled. It shows how much of the hardware is modular and could be replaced with some ease.

It's a shame that it's so complicated to change the ssd, that you lose the warranty and that the disks in that format are still very expensive, it looks like it's going to be a very interesting machine, but the price skyrockets if you want some storage.
With a 1 TB disk you would have a great machine for emulation, and the entire Steam catalog and everything else.
