The CPU yes, by increasing the FSB frequency you can increase it up to where the memory lets you. The thing is that I don't think your motherboard will allow it, we're not just talking about the CPU in the end the limit can be in memory and motherboard.
It might be more worthwhile to look for something on Aliexpress for a few dollars and buy an E8400 or some Quad Core like Q9550.Regards!

@elcompul As your colleague mentioned, you could if your motherboard allowed it. The problem is that your motherboard is not a wall, but I've looked on YouTube and in some videos they do OC on some micro with that motherboard, so in principle you could. I also tell you that it might be more worth it for you to look for a 775 Quad Core. On YouTube there are people with that motherboard and Quad Cores and today you can have a great PC without spending much. You won't be able to play current games, (some), but you can play games from years ago.
