100 days ago, someone put an IBM PCjr as a web server and it still hasn't crashed. It's a V20 at 4.77MHz that they've managed to increase the memory up to 736kB and have vitaminized with a 240GB SSD drive.
8kW liquid cooling
A company has presented a liquid cooling system for processors with a TDP of 8kW. Whether or not it's because of the current trend, the manufacturer says it's intended for AI accelerators.
The best processors for OC
In this entry they have published a list of the best processors of all time for overclocking. It starts with the Pentium MMX at 166MHz and reaches the Core 2 Duo, passing through the 486 DX2 at 40MHz and the Athlon 700 Thunderbird.
First GDDR7 chips
The first GDDR7 memories come with rates of 32 GT/s, signaling with PAM3 modulation and the promise of improving the performance/consumption ratio by 20%.
Hardware file decompression
Nvidia has presented its hardware file decompression technology that goes hand in hand with Microsoft's DirectStorage. They have called it RTX IO and have used a modification of Portal to test it.

Someone has written a program called BFS that has managed to improve the search time of the classic Linux find file search. According to a benchmark carried out by the author himself, his tool reduces the search time of find by a third and that of fd by almost a quarter.
Asus will continue making NUCs
Intel and Asus have reached an agreement for the latter to continue with the production of the NUCs. The license is not exclusive and the manufacturer will be able to design the hardware of future Intel generations.
