PC for LOL, no pretensions
-
Hello, first of all, happy Christmas to everyone and let's get to the turrón (which is appropriate for this time of year).
I want to build a PC whose most demanding use will be some games of LOL, everything else are multimedia tasks and some old games. Since I've been disconnected from the scene for a few years, I've been researching for a couple of days and well, I've had some surprises. Intel manufacturing graphics
, scaling technologies, ray tracing and image overlapping to increase FPS, among others.Goal: LOL at 60 FPS at 2k resolution

price performance consumption I know it's am4 but the jump to the more modern socket and ddr5 costs me a penny that doesn't compensate with performance or so I thinkhttps://www.pccomponentes.com/sapphire-pulse-amd-radeon-rx-6600-8gb-gddr6 same as the processor price performance... now I just saw this
https://www.pccomponentes.com/gigabyte-geforce-rtx-4060-windforce-oc-8gb-gddr6-dlss3 better or worse?https://www.pccomponentes.com/corsair-cx650-650-w-80-plus-bronze nothing to comment bbb

and I leave for last the motherboard, a b550 I still haven't chosen

Merry Christmas! @Kernel1-0

The topic, the usual one. Budget.
If you want something low-cost to optimize price-performance, you can get a team from Deplatec from their Office range, and ask them for a better source, or look for the graphics and the source better on your own.
On the other hand, there are always offers of complete equipment in some stores, such as for example in Neobyte that you have many to choose from.
If you like Gigabyte components this assembly from LIFE seems to be well considered. There is a Code : AMO-IBP with which they make a little discount.
Salu2!

@Kernel1-0 Merry Christmas!
From those graphs I can confidently say that the RTX 4060 is better, and being cheaper than the RX 6600, it's like our admired @Fassou would say: "Run fools!"
Otherwise, quite balanced. Along those lines it should last you many years (as long as they don't try to cap it through software, which is becoming more and more common...).
Best regards!

Thanks for your contributions, I'm glad to see that you're still around, in the end I'm going to order the loose parts.
I've been looking at the Nvidia card, and yes, both raw power and technologies are ahead, now with the discount it's a good buy. I'm not sure but I think I haven't bought the brand since I had a TNT2 one day
.
In the configuration I put, I'm missing the heatsink which is going to be a cooler master Hyper 212 that isn't necessary for that processor but well.
Everything is going to be 760 euros, the idea was for it to be less but it can't be helped
.
Time to place the order and not look at hardware prices in the next 5 years, every time I open the page I see some price change.
Thanks
