Hola, tengo un problema gordo!

Quiero formatear un HD con la consola de recup. de windows, pero al iniciar des de cd, pasa a una pantalla negra que dice: "el programa de instalacion esta inspeccionando la configuracion de hardware de su equipo"
y se reinicia!!!!

Antes de querer formatearlo estube trasteando con el cambio de letra de la unidad activa, es decir, en la que intento formatear e instalar windows de nuevo. La cambié por otra letra, pero viendo que no surtia efecto reinicie con la intencion de empezar de 0.

Ahora no puedo acceder a la consola de recup. de windows, con lo que no puedo iniciar windows ni acceder a la consola para formatear el disco duro.

Si alguien me pudiera ayudar, urgentemente…

Utiliza algún disco de utilidades como puede ser Hirens Boot o similar para arrancar desde él y pasar un par de testeos a tu equipo con las aplicaciones que trae. Luego si quieres hacer particiones o configurar el disco duro como quieras tienes dentro del propio disco la utilidad del Partition Magic con la que podrás hacer todo esto y más. Cuando tengas todo reestructurado prueba a reinstalar el windows, si hiciese falta borra por completo el disco duro previamente (Active Kill Disk).

Con borrar el MBR le sobra, y tarda unos segundos en hacerlo.

Eso es cierto, aunque en ocasiones hay sectores con datos "corruptos" que impiden que la consola de instalación continúe, a mi en ocasiones me ha pasado y me he visto obligado a "quemar" todo el disco duro, tras lo cual ha funcionado.
Por eso he dicho solo "si hiciese falta", llegado el punto en que no consiguiese avanzar durante la instalación.

One solution would be to connect the disk to another machine as a "slave" and format it from the disk manager. If you have problems with the installation I have always attributed it to problems with the RAM or the CD/DVD drive.
