Which graphics card would perform better in games:

ZOTAC GeForce GTX 470 AMP! (Retail, mini-HDMI, 2x DVI) 170Euros

Point of View GTX275 (Retail, TV-Out, 2x DVI) 105 Euros

I would say that the GTX 470 is a level above, since the 275 would be between the 4870 and the 4890 from ATI, and these in turn are inferior to the 5770/5830. I would look to save a little more and get the 5850 on offer from pccomponentes, or the GTX 560 TI. If you can afford it.

the gtx 275 is very old second-hand and for a sli card, you need one that's new or depending on the price, forget it and better get something new as recommended

I say the same thing. The Ati 5850 Extreme is very well priced and performs almost as well as an Nvidia 460GTX. The 470 GTX is a bit more powerful but it's not worth paying that extra price.

My vote goes to the 5850 Xtreme without a doubt, I have it here just bought and it's a pleasure. It cost me to decide on ATI but I don't regret the investment at all, it's a good deal.

How about the ASUS ENGTX 460 DirectCU 1GB? It consumes much less than the GTX 470, it's much cooler and it's cheaper than the latter. Moreover, I changed the GTX 550 that I had in my new PC provisionally to an ASUS ENGTX 460 DirectCU 1GB and I don't regret the change at all.

Apart from that, the HD5850 is also an excellent option.

On the other hand, I would forget about the GTX275, since it's already old and consumes more.
