The PC restarts
-
Hello, well in summary, the PC restarts when opening a game after a few minutes
It has been more than a year that the PC restarts randomly, sometimes 3 weeks fine and then once suddenly, other times, but for the past 3 or 4 days, it can no longer handle 3D for more than 5 minutes.
I had an X1550, you always think the power supply or the graphics
1º I changed the power supply and nothing (one of 500W)
just in case while looking for a (AGP) graphics card to verify2º I tested 2 CPUs and the same thing (AMD single core)
3º I have 3 modules of 1GB Ram and together and separated they do the same thing.
I tested win7 on one hard drive and win XP on another hard drive and it's the same
4º Today a friend lent me an Nvidia 6800 and it's the same.
In windows it works well, except for 1 spontaneous restart in 4 days, watching videos without problems
So I still don't know what the problem is, or what I can do, only the motherboard remains, but why only
in 3D? I don't have any crashes or artifacts. It's a PC that I use at work for internet and I play 1 or 2 MMORPGs.
If you want more data I can provide it, but it's frustrating not to find the damn problem

According to you, you have already tried everything except the motherboard, that is, it will be that. You will have to think about renewing the equipment that you have already squeezed this one.
Salu2.

jaja I was afraid of a response like this, and that's the worst part, because in my house I have a PC to play offline, all the new games that come out, besides I have the rest of the old PCs that accumulate :nono::nono:, and of course the worst part is no money for expenses.
is this an option?
Asus E35M1-M PRO 90-MIBEP0-G0EAY0DZ Motherboard?
just for internet, and 1 or 2 MMORPGs, if that graphics is better than an X1550 I'll be satisfied

What exactly do you need it for? If it's for gaming, you won't find much difference with the one you have, besides the fact that it's not upgradable since it has the CPU+GPU embedded.

if I already said it, only to 1 MMORPG, browse, watch videos online etc.., to play I have the pc at home

I was asking you again because the board you proposed has a very specific use; HTPC or very low power data servers. It is the equivalent of Intel's Atom.
For you, the new Fusions are better suited, the older brothers of the one you put. A board to put in a small case (Portable) with the graphics integrated into the processor suitable for some games.
They integrate an Athlon II X4 with an HD6550 graphics on the same chip, suitable for having something playable in a tiny case.

you forgot that later I have to buy the ddr3 memories, even if they are cheap.
Now I mounted a 9200, it seems that it holds up.
From what I have seen the 9200 (64Bits) you can still play decent, since the MMORPGS are not as demanding
as normal games. What I wanted was to minimize the expense.
I had thought to get a motherboard AM3 with Nvidia graphics and use the CPU AM2+.
There are 2 models that I would be interested in, one of 44 euros DDR2 and the same DDR3 for 46.
I have 3 Modules of 1 GB DDR2.
