Reset jumper
-
hello everyone, I had a problem where the PC would restart and suddenly boot up but the screen would stay black. I changed the memory and the screen would turn on, but I could only enter error mode and after a while it would restart. It wouldn't let me format or anything. I did a BIOS reset with the jumper and it won't boot or turn on. The PC only turns on if I leave the jumper on reset, but nothing comes up on the screen. The motherboard is an Elitegroup and the PC is one of those that beeps with its brand.

start by trying to do a "clean" boot disconnect everything (hard drives DVD etc....) and if not then look at other things, but for now try that
-
I did that, I disconnected the hard drive and the DVD-ROM and nothing, it doesn't turn on.
-
edit the signature, I suppose you also disconnected all the cards (except the graphics, right?) do you have the "speaker" of the motherboard connected? what beeps does it make?

-
If everything is working except the graphics that are integrated into the motherboard, the speaker is broken and doesn't make any sound. The motherboard is an Elitegroup P4M890T-m Rev: 1.0.

look for a speaker and the beeps will indicate which one is the fault, try to set up a graph, it could be the fault, but the ideal are the beeps
